Greetings from the Pastor, As Senior Pastor of Olive Branch Calvary Chapel I welcome you to our website. I would like to share with you a little about myself. My wife Lorraine and I married in March of 1976 and have been blessed with six amazing children (Catherine, Dicky Jr., Colleen, James, Eileen and Vincent). Along with our six children we have been blessed with nine beautiful grandchildren (Jordan, Priscilla, Alysa, Mitchell, James Jr., Luke, Alexis, Grace, and Evan). We have lived in the city of La Mirada since 1987 and love living in the city where we serve. God has been faithful and favorable toward us. I have served as an elder and associate pastor here at Olive Branch Calvary Chapel before becoming Senior Pastor in January 2001. I count it as a great and awesome privilege to serve the Lord by serving the body of Christ (1 Peter 5:2-3). It has been thus far a blessing, a challenge, and a great learning experience as we grow spiritually together in the Lord. It is a great joy and love of mine to study the Word of God and to teach it book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. I am looking forward to the wonderful and awesome work that God is continuing to do here at Olive Branch as we seek His guidance. God has blessed us with spiritually gifted people (Ephesians 4:11-12) and we anticipate God moving us by His Spirit. My desire is that we be used by God to accomplish His will and purpose here on earth and most of all that He would be glorified in and through us. So I extend an invitation to you to come and join us as we worship and serve the Lord together. God bless you as you seek Him.
